The grounding system incorporates a 500 kcmil bare copper conductor connecting the neutral and ground buses with a short-circuit current rating of 54.7 kA. A 3/0 bare copper conductor ties into the main ground bus to bond the incoming water piping, gas piping system, and structural building steel. Individual bonding jumpers extend down to the respective utility lines and structural frame.
