The light pole is anchored to a cast-in-place concrete base using a double nut leveling system over a fully grouted base plate, protected by a base cover. The concrete pier is reinforced with six number five vertical rebar and number four horizontal ties spaced at twelve inches on center, and three inches on center from the top of the base to the finish grade. PVC Schedule 40 conduits enter the base, with spare conduits capped at each dead end pole. Internal electrical provisions include an inline waterproof fuse holder with a breakaway receptacle and fuse accessible through a gasketed handhole with a reinforced frame and cover. A grounding lug connects to a grounding rod, maintaining a three-inch typical clearance.
