An electrical transformer mounts to a reinforced concrete pad positioned above finished grade. The pad is six inches thick with number four reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way, sized to fit the equipment plus four inches minimum at each side and front. Isolation pads sit beneath the equipment base. A one-half inch Hilti KB-TZ2 anchor bolt and washer with two and one-half inch effective embedment secures each corner of the transformer, maintaining a three-inch minimum edge distance.
