Three thousand psi concrete encases a duct bank reinforced with number four reinforcing rods placed at six inches on center top and bottom typically. The assembly incorporates five-inch PVC schedule forty concrete-encased ducts for primary lines and four-inch PVC schedule forty concrete-encased ducts typically numbering eight for secondary lines. Threaded grounding bushings are installed typically at the duct terminations. A one-inch chamfer is provided on all four sides of the concrete envelope. Pull strings are required inside the full length of each spare primary duct.
