The grounding system ties the main switchboard and ufer ground to a Level 1 house ground bar using five-hundred kcmil copper conductors. Bonding connections extend from the ground bar to typical sprinkler piping, HVAC piping, and restroom water piping systems using number four-zero conductors. Additional connections link the ground bar to a stationary generator and a portable generator. All metallic utility piping systems are bonded to the ground bar to maintain an equipotential plane.
