A metal pipe or conduit passes through a fire-rated concrete wall, which can be solid or block construction. The annular space around the pipe is packed with damming material such as backer rod, fiberglass, or mineral wool. CP 25WB firestop caulk is applied on both sides of the wall to seal the penetration.
