A number four-zero bare copper cable is embedded within the concrete foundation footing for a continuous straight distance of fifty feet to serve as a concrete-encased electrode. This cable connects via a cadweld to a vertical rebar or tie rod spaced at ten feet on center within the footing. A conduit extends up through the floor slab, terminated with a metallic grounding bushing and secured with a bonding clamp. Number four-zero grounding wires of required length and number six bonding wires route up the exterior building wall.
