A 3/8-inch thick A572 Grade 50 web plate is welded to the curved surface of a pipe or conduit using 5/16-inch fillet welds along its curved base. A 3/8-inch thick A572 Grade 50 flange plate sits atop the web plate and is secured with 1/4-inch fillet welds. The web plate features an extended tab with a drilled hole dimensioned for a reinforcing cable, with the exact hole diameter to be confirmed.
