A recessed downlight fixture is installed within a finished ceiling and supported by two number twelve gauge hanger wires routed to the structural cross-laminated timber panel. The junction box and transformer or ballast assembly connect alongside the lamp holder and fixture reflector, which accommodates fixtures up to twenty pounds. The hanger wires angle outward at twenty-five degrees plus or minus five degrees and secure to the structure according to architectural details.
