A four-inch square junction box is mounted directly to the overhead structure for distributed antenna system antenna mounting in areas with ceilings open to structure. Cabling runs from the antenna back to the distributed antenna system equipment inside a minimum one-and-one-quarter-inch conduit. Distributed antenna system cabling is prohibited from running in cable trays. The installation requires long sweep bends with no more than one bend per accessible pull point, and a bonding bushing must be provided at the end of the conduit.
