A three-inch by quarter-inch copper bar connects to the vault floor slab and the vertical support of a cable rack using compression-type connections. A number four-slash-zero copper ground wire ties the system to a ground rod in a test well and a Ufer ground or cold water pipe. The ground bus provides a continuous electrical path for equipment grounding and structural bonding within the electrical vault.
