A four-square junction box mounts directly to the building structure above. Two Category 6A cables terminate to a data jack faceplate serving the owner-provided wireless access point. A one-inch conduit or J-hooks route cabling to the cable tray depending on whether the ceiling is accessible lay-in or hard lid. When the wireless access point is located within a hard lid ceiling, the junction box relocates to an accessible location as close to the device as possible and bears the label WAP.
