Connection of the main ground loop conductor to a three-quarter-inch by ten-foot-long copper-clad ground rod driven into the earth. The conductor is bonded directly to the vertical ground rod using a Cadwell type GT exothermic connection. The top of the ground rod is buried with a minimum earth cover of three feet.
