For attachment to concrete masonry units, use two half-inch Hilti KB3 expansion anchors through plywood into masonry with a three-and-a-half-inch minimum embedment installed per ICC-ES-1385. Standard washers measuring three-quarters of an inch in diameter by three-eighths of an inch thick minimum are required at fasteners where slotted holes occur. The maximum allowable load is two hundred sixty pounds with a four-foot-zero-inch spacing and a minimum distance of twelve inches to the point of attachment.
