A duct smoke detector is installed within the supply air duct and connected to the fire alarm system. A shutdown control module links to the HVAC equipment with shutdown wiring routed to the unit or variable frequency drive. Division 26 provides electrical components while Division 23 handles HVAC equipment installation.
