The unit heater is suspended from a structural beam using a listed attachment and support system. Power is supplied via a 480-volt branch circuit conduit to a transformer, which feeds a secondary fused disconnect switch. Metal-clad cable or flexible conduit connects the disconnect to the unit heater motor. A toggle switch disconnect is provided for the unit heater if it is not within sight of the secondary fused disconnect. A maintenance convenience outlet is installed within 25 feet of the unit heater, with all components mounted using strut assemblies as required.
