A copper ground bar measuring one-quarter inch thick, four inches high, and twelve inches long is mounted to the wall with designated wall mounting brackets and insulators. The assembly is typically positioned twenty-four inches above finished floor unless otherwise noted. A grounding conductor connects to the bar via an exothermic weld as indicated on the electrical plans or per typical grounding riser requirements.
