An electrical pull box measuring twenty by fifteen by twelve inches deep is installed within a reinforced concrete housekeeping pad. A three-quarter-inch by ten-foot-long copper clad steel ground rod is driven vertically through the bottom of the well. Ground connectors tie the driven rod to the grounding electrode conductor running to equipment and to a continuous ground ring. The entire well assembly rests over a minimum of six inches of aggregate for drainage.
