Automatic door operators and access control devices are connected via three-quarter-inch conduits running to eight-by-eight-by-six-inch square junction boxes mounted in the ceiling space on the secure side of the doors. Surface-mounted exterior keypads and push plates route wiring through three-quarter-inch conduits to the ceiling junction boxes. Vestibule push plates and keypads similarly tie into the ceiling junction box infrastructure. A fire alarm control module supplies one-hundred-twenty-volt power and connects via a one-inch conduit to the door controller cabinet.
