This concrete foundation support assembly anchors a vertical pole into a cast-in-place concrete pier resting in undisturbed earth. The structure utilizes three thousand PSI, twenty-eight-day strength concrete poured to a total depth of seventy-two inches with a twenty-four-inch minimum depth below grade. Reinforcement consists of four number four vertical rebar surrounded by number four rebar rings spaced twelve inches apart throughout the depth. A rigid conduit with a one-inch minimum diameter passes through the lower portion of the concrete pier. Four one-inch anchor bolts embedded eighteen inches below grade secure the base plate of the pole atop the pier with a layer of grout beneath. The top edges of the concrete feature a one-inch chamfer and a smooth finish.
