A solid cable tray with a continuous solid cover is suspended below an overhead structural unit such as a beam, joist, or slab using Unistrut channels and all-thread rods sized as required by the supported weight. All-thread rods secure the upper Unistrut channel to the structural unit. A bolted connection through the center of the bottom Unistrut channel supports the cable tray assembly.
