An underground medium voltage electrical duct bank is encased in a concrete mix measuring 673.10 millimeters wide by 482.60 millimeters high, positioned below finished grade with a maximum burial depth of 760.00 millimeters. Six 5-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduits labeled MV-TX-A through MV-TX-F are arranged in a two-by-three grid with typical 190-millimeter spacing and a minimum 102-millimeter concrete cover. A number 4 steel rebar runs parallel to the ducts, typically positioned under driveways and within 10 feet of foundations. A 4/0 AWG bare copper ground wire is included and bonded to a ground rod at each manhole vault or piece of equipment. Detectable warning tape is placed approximately 254 millimeters above the concrete encasement. The minimum bend radius for the 5-inch conduit is 900 millimeters.
