A cable tray is suspended below a roof purlin or floor beam using a metal channel trapeze hanger supported by threaded rods. The upper attachment utilizes either a U-bolt type beam clamp or a J-hook with a nut and lock washer, secured to the structural steel flange. Metal channels span horizontally across the threaded rods to support the cable tray, secured with square washers, hex nuts, and hold-down clamps.
