An equipment enclosure sits atop a four-inch concrete housekeeping pad cast with three-thousand PSI stone aggregate concrete unless noted otherwise. The pad features a three-quarter-inch to one-inch chamfer on its top edges and corners. Drilled anchors secure the equipment enclosure base to the concrete pad, spaced according to equipment dimensions with a minimum two-inch or three-inch clearance from edges. The pad embeds a minimum of four inches into the structural slab, maintaining a minimum one-inch or two-inch clearance at slabs on grade.
