A liquidtight flexible metallic conduit terminates at an electrical enclosure or device via a compression connector body. A ferrule and compression nut secure the conduit to the connector body, while an o-ring provides a seal against the enclosure wall. The threaded connector body passes through a knockout hole and is secured from the inside with a locknut and an optional bushing where required. Listed grounding type connectors with lugs and external bonding jumpers are specified for circuits rated twenty amps or more for half-inch conduit, more than sixty amps for three-quarter to one-and-one-quarter-inch conduit, and one-and-one-half-inch and larger where required for grounding. Insulated bushings are required for conductors number four or larger.
