Junction boxes and circuiting mount directly to the structural ceiling or independent supports, keeping them structurally separate from the T-bar ceiling system. Galvanized hanger wires at two corners attach to the building structure using shot-in anchors, requiring a minimum of four tight turns in one and a half inches at both ends. Number twelve gauge hangers attach to grid members within three inches of each corner of each fixture per the Uniform Building Code. Fixtures secure to the T-bar grid using two number six by one-half inch sheet metal screws at each end of the fixture. A six-foot flexible whip connects the lay-in LED troffer to the junction box, with circuit quantities and layouts allowing any fixture to shift one grid in any direction without added circuiting.
