A surface-mounted light fixture is secured to the ceiling material using two-inch long number twelve TEK screws at each of the four corners in accordance with ICC ESR-1976. The ceiling suspension system utilizes hat channels and main runners, with main runners saddle-tied to cross furring using two strands of eighteen gauge tie wire. Additional ceiling construction information is coordinated with sheets A9.20 and A9.21.
