Panel HP supplies a 277/480V 3-phase 4-wire 42-circuit main lug only distribution panel rated at 200A. A 100A 3-pole breaker feeds a 75kVA 480-120/208V transformer with grounding per National Electrical Code Article 250. The transformer steps down voltage to feed Panel LP, a 200A main circuit breaker panel rated at 120/208V 3-phase 4-wire with 42 circuits. A separate feed stubs into the electrical room to supply a fire pump control panel equipped with a surge protective device. The fire pump control panel connects to a 480V 3-phase fire pump drawing 124 full load amps with 750A locked rotor current.
