A #2 AWG green insulated stranded copper wire connects to the interior peripheral ground ring and joins the assembly via crimp connections. A double crimp connects the stranded wire to a solid wire at the mounting base. A #2 AWG solid wire extends upward to the exterior ground ring through a 1-inch PVC sleeve set at a 45-degree angle.
