An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the doors in the ceiling space of the secure side, supplied by a one-inch conduit running to the door controller cabinet. A 3/4-inch conduit connects the junction box to the magnetic lock and magnetic hold-open devices, with locations verified against architectural plans. Emergency power at 120 volts feeds through a fire alarm control module and a Z-labeled component to the access hardware.
