This assembly features a Burndy YGF29-4N grounding plate embedded flush with the finished floor surface. The plate includes four 1/2-13 threaded holes for equipment connections. A 3/8-16 threaded positioning rod is installed into the underside of the plate prior to concrete placement to secure the assembly. Below the slab, the plate connects to a 4/0 or 250 kcmil tinned copper bare conductor grounding grid. Above the slab, a tinned copper bare conductor connects the plate to the equipment ground bus, equipment skid, or lightning protection system as specified in the plans.
