A wood stringer fastens directly to a concrete masonry unit wall using two total one-half inch diameter Hilti KB3 expansion anchors. The anchors pass through the wood stringer and embed a minimum of two and one-half inches into the concrete masonry unit wall. Installation must comply with ICC-ES-1385.
