A four-inch square electrical box is installed flush within a sheetrock wall assembly. The box is secured to the wall surface using a mud ring, which provides a mounting flange for the finish cover plate. A three-quarter-inch conduit stub extends from the top of the box into the ceiling space, connected via a conduit box connector secured with a set screw.
