An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the door in the ceiling space of the secure side, supplied by a one hundred twenty-volt emergency power door latch power supply. A three-quarter-inch conduit connects to the top of the door frame for the door contact, while another three-quarter-inch conduit routes to the door controller cabinet. An electric hinge transfers power to the EU storeroom lock and connects to a surface-mounted proximity card reader on the unsecure side positioned at forty-two inches above finished floor.
