A square opening is cut into the existing concrete manhole wall and sized to accommodate the incoming concrete ductbank envelope containing raceways and conduit bushings. Ductbank reinforcing bars are upsized to number six bars, drilled and epoxied into the existing manhole wall. An adhesive rubber waterstop is cemented around the perimeter of the opening. Waterproofing is applied around the perimeter of the new ductbank extending one foot up the existing manhole wall and one foot onto the new ductbank.
