An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the door in the ceiling space of the secure side. A one-hundred-twenty-volt emergency power supply connects to a door latch power supply. A surface-mounted proximity card reader is positioned on the unsecure side at forty-two inches above finished floor. Wiring routes through an electric hinge to an EU storeroom lock, with a three-quarter-inch conduit running to the door controller cabinet.
