An electrical grounding bus is mounted on a wall twelve inches above the finished grade. A four-inch concrete base anchors to the structural slab using one number four rebar at each corner with minimum three-inch edge coverage. The base secures to the slab using half-inch by four-inch epoxy anchors at all four corners, utilizing approved anchor systems such as Hilti HVA or Ramset. All building main grounding conductors extend to the main building grounding bus in each new electrical and IT room.
NOTES: 1. SUPPORT FROM WALL 12 INCHES ABOVE FINISHED GRADE, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 2. PROVIDE IN EACH NEW ELECTRICAL AND IT ROOM. 3. EXTEND ALL BUILDING MAIN GROUNDING CONDUCTOR TO THE MAIN BUILDING GROUNDING BUS. 4. SEE SPECIFICATION SECTION 260452 FOR DETAILS. ANCHOR THE 4" CONCRETE BASE TO THE SLAB WITH (1) #4 REBAR AT EACH CORNER OF BASE (MIN. 3" COVERAGE FROM EDGE) 3" INTO SLAB AND BASE.
