A structural unit such as a beam, joist, or slab supports all-thread rods sized as required for the weight of the raceway system. The threaded rods suspend a bottom Unistrut channel via bolted connections through the center of the bottom as required by the supported weight. Raceways ranging from 1/2 inch to 6 inches are secured to the Unistrut channel using conduit clamps for 1/2 inch to 1 inch sizes and 2-piece channel pipe straps for 1/4 inch to 6 inch sizes.
