A dry type transformer rests on a four point five inch thick concrete housekeeping pad above the finished floor. The transformer unit is secured at each corner using four three eighths inch diameter expansion anchors with a two and a half inch minimum embedment of minimum SAE one grade. A one half inch thick elastomeric zone sheet is placed at each corner beneath the unit for vibration isolation.
