An electrical pole mounts to a concrete base using anchor bolts provided by the pole manufacturer. The concrete base incorporates four number 6 vertical reinforcing bars and number 3 ties spaced at twelve inches on center. A conduit enters the side of the foundation base for underground utility routing. A grounding lug on the pole connects grounding wires to bushings and the pole itself. A ground rod connects to the foundation through a thermite welded connection.
