Electrical conduit spans across a seismic or expansion joint in a floor or roof structure using an electrical metallic tubing expansion fitting equivalent to an O-Z/Gedney Type TX. The conduit is secured on both sides of the joint by conduit clamps attached to structural members such as beams or joists. A properly sized bonding jumper is installed with the expansion fitting to maintain electrical continuity across the joint.
