An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the door within the ceiling space of the secure side to route electrical connections. A door latch power supply feeds 120V emergency power to the system, with a one-inch conduit running to the door controller cabinet. Magnetic locks secure the double doors at the top frame, while magnetic hold open devices are positioned on each side with locations verified against architectural plans. Proximity card readers are surface-mounted on both the front and back sides at forty-two inches above finished floor. A fire alarm control module ties into the circuit using three-quarter-inch conduit.
