Electrical conduits are supported by a trapeze hung from structural members such as beams or joists via steel expansion anchors and beam clamps. An expansion fitting with a bonding jumper bridges the seismic or expansion joint in the floor or roof structure. A junction box is mounted to an integral galvanized lipped steel mounting channel using spring nuts. Extra cable is provided to make a complete loop around the box perimeter for slack. This installation is required for conduits seventy-six millimeters three inches and larger.
