A three-quarter inch by ten foot long stainless steel ground rod is driven into the earth inside a precast utility box. The precast box rests on a twelve inch thick crushed rock base and is topped with a concrete cover featuring lifting eyes and labeled electrical. A continuous ground conductor loop connects to the ground rod using a Burndy type GP6429 connector or approved equal with no known equal. Ground conductors required are sized per the electrical plan.
