Signal path from the communications utility provider into the building's IT infrastructure. Two four-inch conduits carry the utility service cable to the utility service equipment. From there, the signal routes to an eighteen-inch wide IT rack containing a network switch and a patch panel. Category 6 cabling connects the patch panel to various end-user devices, including a wireless access point, data ports, and IP phones.
