Existing concrete wall surfaces are roughened to a one-quarter-inch amplitude to ensure proper bonding. Number four adhesive dowels with standard hooks are installed into the existing concrete. A two-inch minimum embedment depth is maintained unless otherwise noted. Typical clear cover is one and three-quarter inches.
