A vertical cablebus runs continuously through a framed cut-out in a concrete floor slab. Steel supports furnished by the electrical subcontractor bridge the floor opening. Spring hanger assemblies provide vertical support for the cablebus at each floor level throughout the riser. Approved firestopping material fills the annular space around the penetration to maintain fire-rated assemblies. Environmental seal flanges with conductors sealed in RTV silicone sealant provide a watertight and firestop-rated transition.
