Lighting fixtures are integrated into a suspended acoustic ceiling grid using rivets to secure the T-bar to the fixture frame. Number 12 gauge tie wires attach to the building structure at the four corners of each fixture and splay at forty-five degrees in two directions from one corner minimum. Additional number 12 gauge tie wires support the main runner within three inches of the four fixture corners.
