Electrical boxes are installed on opposite sides of a partition wall with a minimum horizontal separation of twenty-four inches. A vertical wall stud is positioned between the two boxes to maintain acoustic and fire separation performance. The layout prevents back-to-back box placement in accordance with standard partition construction requirements.
