A cast outlet box is set out from the face of the concrete masonry unit wall to accommodate the fixture mounting. A gasket is required between the outlet box and the fixture to ensure the installation is water tight. The assembly provides a secure and weather-resistant connection for exterior or wet-location wall-mounted equipment.
